We believe that books are powerful tools for sharing stories and preserving history. Because a library is the heart of a community, it is time to demonstrate our love in a tangible way. We are organizing a "BINDING EMBRACE," a human chain to surround our library. Our goal is to stand together in love and support, specifically to address the negative impacts of Bill 28 on access to information. While this is a significant issue, we want to keep this event focused on our love for literature, the cherished role our library plays, and our opposition to restricting access to books. We want to keep the rally about support and not about divisive politics.
